About Us
Infinitum is an annual inter-school quizzing event conducted by Club Mathematica. Unique in its own ways, the event aims at exploring the logical and reasoning skills of students and providing them an incredible journey filled with vitality and enchantment through the world of mathematics. From its humble roots in 2011 as a small event confined to the district of Calicut, Infinitum has now emerged as a convivial quiz event with 13 zones spreading all across South India. Infinitum starts off with a preliminary round organized at the school level followed by a district level finals and the grand state finals held at National Institute of Technology, Calicut. Cash prizes worth Rs 1 Lakh await the winners. To sum up, Infinitum is a ‘one of its kind event’ driven by perpetual desire to bring out the best of logical reasoning and critical thinking in young minds.

What is new
Infinitum has a novel touch this year. Taking into consideration the prevailing pandemic conditions, Infinitum will be conducted completely through online modes.
Special care has been taken in the question formulation. The questions are prepared in a feasible manner that it works easily in the in the online mode, ensuring that the students do not face any difficulty in analyzing, discussing or answering the questions.
Who is eligible?
Club Mathematica once again paves the way for students to be a part of the Infinitum experience. Infinitum'20 will be conducted in two categories:
1. Classes 7-9 : Do you think you can outwit your peers with ingenious maths and skills? Welcome to Infinitum'20.
2. Classes 10-12 : Tired of nerve racking and hectic schedules? Have what it takes to outplay your compeers in a game of math and logic? You are at the right place!
What is the story behind?
The mission of our event, is to pump up the students with hidden talents, generally those, who are unable to set their mark in conventional exams.
To observe logic is to recognize reason. To be sensible when logic is not obvious, requires some rudimentary understanding of logical structures of thought, and expression of real things, ideas, plans or actions, for when the switch is off, the light is off.
